Hello, Calgary Ski Club!
My name is Juanita, and I am currently recruiting to fill roles on the 2024 Volunteer Crew. I am hoping to secure your help for filling Course Marshals rolls for the 2024 Servus Calgary Marathon race day, Sunday, May 26, 2024
How you can help.
We are in great need of Course Marshals, specifically in the neighbourhood of Montgomery. But, there are several locations along the course where we still need more people. Marshals ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants and spectators. Runners and athletes are often familiar with race course marshaling from the perspective of a participant, and this is why I am specifically reaching out to you, a group who may know from personal experience how important this role is and how the role functions. If you or your club members are not participating as race participants this year, please consider making a commitment to support this event as a Course Marshal or one of the other volunteer roles available.
