The Mountain Collective
is a ski pass offering free and discounted ski days at selected resorts.  We have arranged discount codes for Club members.

Passholder benefits
. Two free days each season at participating resorts and subsequent days at 1/2 price.  If you buy early, you get a bonus free day at the resort of your choice.  No blackout dates on lift tickets. There are additional perks such as hotel discounts and free Protect Our Winters (POW) membership.  Hotels may have blackout dates.

Resorts in Western Canada on the Mountain Collective are Sunshine, Lake Louise, Panorama, Revy, Sun Peaks and Marmot Basin in Jasper. There are additional resorts in the USA, Europe, Chile, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and Australia. Resorts.  

Trips: We host trips to a number of these resorts, as well as some in the USA.  If you are an active skier, you should get excellent value out of this.

Buy early for best deal.  The best deal on a Mountain Collective pass is to purchase early.  The price increases as sales reach certain levels and the bonus third day is no longer available after a certain number of sales.

Teen Passes  $85.00 USD off
Child Passes $40.00 USD off

Terms
1) You may buy more than one pass with the discount code if they are on the same cart.  Each pass will get the discount.
2)  You cannot use a code more than once and we are unable to provide you with more than one code. Each code is unique.
3) The code is good until the end of the sale period and will apply to the price and bonuses at the time of purchase
4) Please refer to the Mountain Collective website for terms, conditions, resorts, and current pricing and any updates.

To receive a code and purchase your pass:

Login to the Ski Club website
Go to the event (March 20th, 2024 on our Event Calendar) or click on the link below.
Click on "Get Your Code"
Follow the steps to register.
A code will be sent to you within 5 days.
Once you receive the code, go to the Mountain Collective website and order your pass or passes.  During check out, enter the code and the discount will be applied to all passes in the cart.

This is a summary only and while believed accurate, please refer to details about the passes on the Mountain Collective website.  Note that after the two free days, the 1/2 price days at Sunshine and Louise are based on the Big Three ticket price.  Some resorts have different age limits for teens and children so the 1/2 price days in some cases may be based on the adult price.

Ski Area Discount Passes

For more casual skiers we offer Lake Louise Plus Cards, Sunshine Super Cards, Castle Wow Cards, RCR Rockies Cards and Marmot Escape cards.  These are sold at a small discount and we cover the GST.  These are offered in the fall for a limited period of time. Available until Nov 18th.

Information on individual Ski Area passes will be updated in the fall once new details are available.

Discounted day passes

On some of our events to non Mountain Collective resorts, we offer group discount tickets.  These require certain minimum numbers to get the discounts.  They must be purchased in advance and are usually picked up at the hill in morning of the first ski day.

Season Passes

There are deals on season passes available through individual resorts, if purchased early, whether midweek, spring or full season.  Buy early if you are an avid skier and ski primarily at one resort.  We do not offer these through the Club.

Points for Passes

If you have Volunteer points, they will be deducted automatically from any purchase through our website.  If you buy a season pass directly from a resort and you have points remaining on your account, you may submit it for reimbursement using the Expense Reimbursement Portal.

To see your points, log in, hover over your name, select profile from the dropdown.  Then go to Histories then Payment/Credit History and your remaining credit balance will be shown at bottom right column labeled Balance.


Comparison Multi Area passes: Ikon, Epic, Indy etc


There are a number of other multi resort passes around the world.  They all offer a variety of resorts and benefits depending on where you like to ski.  Most of these have limited access to resorts in our area. We have reached out to discuss possible discounts and will keep you informed.  Some have a dizzying array of options to chose from.  All prices are in USD unless otherwise noted.  Information is believed correct as of April 1, 2024.  Please refer to individual resorts or passes to confirm details, pricing and conditions.

International (primarily US)


Epic 
$982. USD No restricted days in US and includes unlimited at a number of resorts, including Whistler and Park City. Includes around 7 days each at European resorts and 5 days each at Japanese resorts, Plus limited days at RCR resorts in Canada
Epic Local Pass* — $731. Restricted days at popular resorts. 10 days total in Vail, BC and Whistler. No European resorts. 5 days each at Japanese resorts.
Epic Day Pass* — $405 / 4 days for all resorts and no peak dates. Very customizable.

* Tahoe Local Pass — $621 (only 3 Tahoe resorts with restricted days. Includes 5 days total in Colorado resorts + Whistler)
* Tahoe Value Pass — $529 (only Tahoe and excludes Saturdays at some resorts)

* Keystone Plus Pass — $390 (restricted days, includes Breckenridge and 5 days in Crested Butte)

IKON

IKON Pass* — $1249. USD No restricted days. Unlimited at 17 resorts in the US + max 7 days each at 40 resorts, including international.
IKON Base Pass* — $869. USD With restricted days. Unlimited at 14 resorts + max 5 days each at 36 resorts.
IKON Base Pass Plus* — $1119.USD Same as Base Pass, but includes 5 days at Aspen, Jackson Hole, Taos, Deer Valley and a few others.
IKON Session Pass* — $449 USD/ 4 days with restricted days. No Aspen, Jackson Hole, Taos, etc.

There are local passes, but they cover individual resorts.

* Winter Park (IKON) — $699 for season pass no restriction. $499 midweek with restrictions.
* Deer Valley (IKON) — $3,180 for season pass no restriction, $1,620 midweek with restrictions.
* Big Bear (IKON) — $599 unlimited.

Indy Pass

2 All-Day or 2 All-Night Tickets at 200+ Resorts. Less popular resorts. Includes 1 resort in Europe and a few in Japan.
In Canada, resorts include Castle, Big White, Apex. Pass Powderkeg, Mt Baldy, Mt Washington, Shames, Sasquatch and others, including a number of XC areas.


* Indy+ pass — $469 USD
* Indy base pass — $349 USD(has restricted days)

The following addons are in addition to the season pass at a participating mountain:

Mountain Collective Pass

$605 USD for 2 days at any resort with no restricted days. Unlimited 50% off lift tickets.  See our discount offer above.

Included resorts, such as Aspen, Jackson Hole, Taos, Sugar Bowl, Banff Sunshine, Niseko, Chamonix, Valle Nevada and others. Procedures for purchasing 50%-off lift tickets vary from resort to resort.


Powder Alliance

USA, Canada and New Zealand: 22 resorts in total.
Buy a season pass at participating resorts and get 3 free days at all the others.
In Canada only Marmot and Castle.

North America (mostly US)

Multi resort
One has to buy season pass at participating resorts and it gives access to participating resorts.

* Sierra-at-Tahoe, CA — $529 USD with no restricted days. $429 with restricted days. Powder alliance: Includes 3 FREE days of skiing + riding at 22 other resorts, Sun-Fri + non-holiday. 50% off on weekend tickets.
* Bear valley, CA — USD 549.00. No mention of powder alliance benefits. It's also on Cali pass and the prices is $649.
* The Cali Pass — $649. Unlimited at 4 classic California winter resorts PLUS 3 days each at 19 Powder Alliance resorts. Resorts: Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, China Peak and Mountain High.

Super Pass (Canada)

RCR Resorts (Fernie Alpine Resort, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Nakiska Ski Area).

* $2,199 for unlimited

* Power Pass — $649 for Young Adult (30-36) and $749 for Adult (37-64) — unlimited. plus 7 days at Valle Nevado, Chile.
* Power Pass Select — $449 for Young Adult (30-36) and $549 for Adult (37-64) — with restricted days and 12 days at Purgatory, Snowbowl, and Lee Canyon. 7 days at Valle Nevado, Chile.
* Power Pass Core — $249 for Young Adult (30-36) and $299 for Adult (37-64) — more restrictions.

Ski California Gold Pass

* Includes all resorts in California: Northstar, Homewood, Diamond Peak, Palisades, Sierra, Heavenly, Mammoth, etc.
* $3,800 — no restricted days, fully Transferrable/shareable With Anyone. Doesn't have rental, lodging or any other discounts.

Tahoe

* Northstar, Heavenly, Kirkwood — see Epic.
* Palisades — see IKON
* Sugar Bowl (Mountain Collective)
   * Unrestricted — $1099. No restricted days. Get 50% off lift tickets at other mountain collective resorts.
   * Slightly restricted — $749. With restricted days. 50% off at other mountain collective resorts.
   * Preferred Parking add-on: $599
* Sierra-at-tahoe — $529 with no restricted days. $429 with restricted days. Powder Alliance benefits (see above).
* Mt. Rose — $1025 for unrestricted. $875 with restricted days.
* Homewood — not yet this year.

Colorado

* Aspen Snowmass
   * Premier — $3,314 for unlimited skiing. No restricted days.
   * Alpine pass — $2,249 for 2 days per week. $1,554 for 1 day per week. No restricted days. Additional tickets for 50%.
   * Valley Pass — $584 for 7 days in total. No restricted days. Additional days for 30% off the 1-day in-resort rate.
* Telluride (Epic) — $2,650 for unlimited.
* Copper Mountain (IKON) — $809 for unlimited. IKON base pass is unlimited. Parking add-on $799.

Utah

* Park city — see Epic
* Deer Valley (IKON) — $3,180 for season pass no restriction, $1,620 midweek with restrictions. $3,579 for season pass + discounted IKON pass.
* Snowbird — will be in April. Is on IKON and Mountain Collective.
* Alta — comes in May. Last season — $1,599 for unlimited.

Japan
