Self-Drive (no bus) - Car Pooling Available
Car pooling to Revy will be organized by the host but final details will be arranged amongst attendees. Email to follow. Each vehicle is responsible for their own fuel expense as per the CSC Car Pooling Calculation. What's Included ($230/person double occupancy): Three nights accommodations at the Grizz Hotel located downtown within walking distance to the best restaurants, pubs and nightclubs in Revelstoke. Rooms have minifridge and coffee maker. Continental breakfast at Grizz Hotel, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A Meet N' Greet social to get to know your fellow skiers, Monday evening, at River City Pub, Regent Hotel. Also, hotel is near the Revelstoke Aquatic Centre for pool, hot tub, and steam room (entry fee not included). For Downhill Skiers: Lift tickets not included. There is a convenient shuttle to the Resort that you can take at your leisure - please check schedule for times. For Cross Country Skiers: The Mount Macpherson trail system is maintained by the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club. There is no longer a shuttle to the Trails. Itinerary: The following is the itinerary for this ski trip but is subject to change: Sunday Feb 25: Suggested depart at about 2:00 pm from carpooling meet-up arranged by drivers. Arrive in Revelstoke at about 7:00 pm and check-in at the Grizz Hotel. Monday Feb 26: Light breakfast at Grizz Hotel. At 8:00 am DH skiers drive to ski hill or catch the public ski hill shuttle at your leisure. Ski at Revelstoke all day. XC skiers drive to Mt MacPherson Cross Country Ski area. Drive to Grizz Hotel at 4:00 pm or return on public shuttle (check schedule). After skiing social Monday - 6:00 pm: Meet N' Greet with appetizers supplied, at River City Pub, Regent Hotel. Tuesday Feb 27: Light breakfast at Grizz Hotel. At 8:00 am DH skiers drive to ski hill or catch the public ski hill shuttle at your leisure. Ski at Revelstoke all day. XC skiers drive to Mt MacPherson Cross Country Ski area. Drive to Grizz Hotel at 4:00 pm or return on public shuttle (check schedule). After skiing Tuesday - 5:00 pm: Meet at Revelstoke Aquatic Centre for pool, hot tub, and steam room (entry fee not included) Wednesday Feb 28: Light breakfast at Grizz Hotel. Check out of Hotel. Drive to ski hill or Mt MacPherson. Leave for Calgary at 3:30 pm and should arrive in Calgary by 10:00 p.m., weather permitting. This is a self-drive trip. Registration closes January 21 at 8:00 PM (unless we sell out the rooms).
