This 6 kilometer one way hike into the famous and scenic Ink Pots and surrounding meadows. The -Ink Pots are mineral rich pools with the interesting colors that are breathtaking! The blue-green color of the ponds never ceases to amaze and the mountain scenery surrounding is nothing short of spectacular. So, what are the Ink Pots? The Ink Pots are a series of five cool springs where spring water percolates up through the sand and gravel.

Elevation Gain: 529 Meters / 1735 Feet
Maximum Elevation Gain: 1750 Meters / 5750 Feet
Travel Distance: 150 Kilometers One Way / 1 Hour and 45 Minutes
Difficulty Level: Easy to Moderate
Rendezvous Point: North Edworthy Park, North Parking, Northeast Corner / Middle. Look for the White Ford Explorer. Please arrive 15 minutes before (7:45 a.m.) so carpooling can be arranged, as we will be leaving at 8:00 a.m. sharp.
