Bill Milne Trail - by Ribbon Creek (x-country skiing) - Cancelled

This gorgeous trail is great for these who want a nice long ski without any technical challenges. Please note: this trip is not suitable for complete beginners.

The trail is relatively flat and you can turn around anytime you start to feel tired. We can start from the Kovach Day Use Area below the Village and ski towards Wedge Pond from here. From the Kovach Day Use Area, it is roughly 4 km to the Kananaskis Golf Course for a perfect easy outing of 8 km round trip (completely flat.) From the Golf Course, it is another 1.6 km to the Mount Kidd RV Park. For stronger skiers this might be an option. The round trip would be ~ 11km in this case.

Please note that vehicles parked at provincial park and public land sites in Kananaskis Country need a Conservation Pass.

Please be at North Edworthy Park a few minutes before 9 a.m. so we can get organized. Look for a grey Nissan Juke.
