Break out your cross country skis - its time to get going! They'll be packing, and tracksetting Moraine Lake Road by the time the date rolls around. These tracks progress up along the road that takes hikers to Moraine Lake in the summer time. It offers a fun cruise back to the parking lot. This is an easy to moderate ski with a steady gradual climb towards the turning point, and all downhill coming back. Generally, the slope going down is moderate allowing non-expert skiers to enjoy the thrill of downhill skiing – knowing how to snowplow, or being willing to learn is helpful.
