Cox Hill Ridge Hike / Powderface Trail Area / Highway 68

Description: Cox Hill Ridge Trail is a fairly strenuous trail that climbs steadily to a flat, grassy hilltop over the top of Cox Hill and connects with the Jumping Pound Ridge Trail.  The summit is a superlative, stunning, panoramic viewpoint, superior to Moose Mountain, because that massif, looking unfamiliar from this direction, is also included in the view.  The most recent claim to fame though, is that it is the highest point on the Trans Canada Trail.

Special Pandemic Conditions:

• Events are subject to cancellation or change on short notice due to changes in government restrictions.

• No carpooling - meet at trailhead or at a junction and convoy to trailhead.

• No food / snack sharing. • Bring your own wipes and hand sanitizer and a mask.

• Washrooms may not be available - please be prepared to pack out what you bring in, such as toilet
