This is a Nordic skiing evening training event for more advanced skiers. It is hosted in partnership with the Canadian Scrambling and Mountaineering Club.
Destination: Cascade Fire Road in Banff National Park

Meet for a departure at 4:30 p.m. from Shouldice Park and Ride Lot.
We will aim to be at the trailhead for 6:00 p.m. and back to the car by 10 pm. We will be back in Calgary before midnight. The 1-way driving time is 1 h 30 min (125 km).
Carpool fee: 0$.06/km per passenger, i.e. $15 per person.
What to bring:
- cross-country skiing gear (classic),
- winter layered clothing appropriate for the weather and temperature forecast
