Calgary needs over 4300 donors every month to meet patient needs and we require 550 new donors every month to help grow the donor base.  You are needed!

We have several blood donor spots reserved as the Calgary Ski Club for Saturday Morning on October 5.

REMINDER: THE CBS has moved to a new location. The address is highlighted in this announcement a few times.

Donors must register themselves for  Calgary Ski Club appointments CALG0121419 by creating or logging into theirBlood.ca account.

Here' How:

• Register online or create a profile by downloading the GiveBlood App
• Log into or create your blood.ca account
• Select Join/Manage Organizations from the menu – select Join an Existing Team
• Type in your organizations name
• Select Yes to share your contact information
• Select JOIN THE TEAM
• VIEW TEAM Scroll down to see the team appointments
• BOOK NOW Select the desired appointment time from one of the reserved spots

Returning Donors registered for an appointment time can check-in directly at the Donor Concierge (near front desk) upon arrival

All information you give to the Canadian Blood Services is confidential, including your appointment details.
So, please let us know by registering here as well, if you are joining us on Tuesday Evening October 9.

How to get to the Canadian Blood Services' new Location in Calgary
PennWest Plaza 209 9th Ave SW.

By Car:
Calgary Tower complimentary designated parking Level 6 on the west side
Parking Garage Entrance on 10 Ave SW co-ordinates: 51.043365,-114.0641802

Complimentary parking is available for donors at the Calgary Tower—just a 5-minute walk from the donor centre.
There are entrances to the parkade on 9th and 10th Ave.

Designated donor parking will be on the west side on Level 6, near the elevator. Park where you see this sign:

To get to the donor centre from the parkade, take the elevator to the ground level, exit onto 9th Ave., and walk west, crossing 1st St. SW to Penn West Plaza East Tower 209 9th Ave SW.

LRT:
For donors taking the C-train to the downtown core, the closest LRT stations bring you within a 10-minute walk of the donor centre.

• If on a westbound C-train, disembark at 1 Street SW LRT station.
• If on an eastbound C-train, disembark at 3 Street SW LRT station.
• It’s a three to four block walk south to Penn West Plaza

Bicycle:
A public, outdoor bike rack is available in front of Penn West Plaza.

Entering & Exiting the Parkade

The process

Take a ticket as you enter the Calgary Tower parkade for use when leaving the parkade after your appointment.

Upon arrival at the donor centre, you will receive a ticket to cover the time you are in the donor centre.

Should your appointment take more time than expected, please ask the donor services representative
for an additional ticket to cover the amount of time you spent at the donor centre.

Complete the following steps when exiting the Calgary Tower parkade

Step 1 insert the ticket(s) that you received at the donor centre

Step 2 insert the ticket you received on entry to the parkade

NB: If you have spent any additional time downtown after your appointment ends,

Step 3 insert payment for the additional time spent downtown after completing steps 1 & 2
