Sun Dec 17:
Self Drive (carpool TBA) to Revelstoke.
Check into the Revelstoke Lodge.
Mon. Dec 18:
Shuttle or drive to the ski hill and ski like crazy
Apres ski Dinner & Drinks at Zela's Pizza & Steakhouse 6:30pm (sponsored by the CSC)
Tue Dec 19:
Drive or shuttle to the ski hill, ski like crazy. Coordinate meetup at the Acquatic Centre and Dinner and Drinks afterwards. Note: Acquatic Centre closes at 7 pm.
Wed Dec 20:
Drive or shuttle to the ski hill, ski like crazy. Last night out.
Thurs Dec 21:
Check out of the Revelstoke Lodge.
Option to ski early afternoon or depart for Calgary after breakfast. If you plan to ski to early afternoon you must leave the area no later than 3:00 pm to get through Golden construction in daylight. Keep the weather in mind when deciding this.
Registration - 3 parts
1) Find a ski buddy from the Ski Club to share a room. Or opt for single occupancy. Please contact the organizers if you need help finding a roommate and/or if you wish to explore carpooling.
2) Register for the event (Free)
3) Call the Revelstoke Lodge and book your room. Phone: 1-250-837-2181. The organizer has reserved an initial block of five rooms. Ask for the room block registered under the name of Steve Hashman of the Calgary Ski Club. Rooms are priced at $119/night ($59.50/night if you are sharing). All rooms have two queen beds and a microwave, mini-fridge & coffee maker.
Note: The hotel allows you to cancel with no penalty up to three days before arrival.
Lift Ticket Deals and Info
Reve is covered by the Mountain Collective (MC). If you do not have a MC visit the Revelstoke Mountain site you can save significantly if you book multiple day lift tickets in advance.
The Mountain
Please note that lifts at Revy run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. With the longest vertical, deepest snow and fantastic terrain, this resort remains one of the top ski resorts in North America.
There is also excellent XC skiing at Mt MacPherson ski area - about a 10 minute drive from the Lodge.
