Missing something slippery, cold and icy to make turns on?<br /><br />The Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary is open this Saturday for public skating from noon to 5:00 pm.<br /><br />I will be there from 1:00 pm to about 2:30 or so. Join me for a few turns around the oval. I will be wearing a Ski Club vest.<br /><br />You are required to wear an approved helmet - a bike helmet, a hockey helmet, an equestrian or another sports helmet with a chin strap. Note it must be an approved helmet for the sport it was intended for.<br /><br />You can also rent skates and a helmet for 7.00, or just a helmet for 2.50<br /><br />Before coming, please double-check the schedule and entry fees as they are subject to change.
