Come join us in the beautiful Columbia Valley at the Trickle Creek Lodge in Kimberley for a fun-filled weekend.
This event is for people who enjoy Biking, Golfing or Hiking.
Where: Trickle Creek Lodge - 500 Stemwinder Drive, Kimberley, B.C.
When: Friday, July 1st, Saturday, 2nd and return on Sunday, July 3rd.
Itinerary
Friday, July 1st: Drive to Kimberley and arrive at the bike trailhead at 1:00 p.m. Park at Kimberly Aquatic Center.
1:00 p.m.: Bike the NorthStar Trail. This 26 km out and back paved path takes you from Kimberley to Cranbrook, where we will stop for ice cream, then return to Kimberley via the same route.
4:00 p.m.: (or later) check-in at the Trickle Creek Lodge.
Dinner is on your own. We will try to arrange groups to meet and dine together.
Suggestion: Visit the Kimberley Platzl Shops.
Saturday, July 2nd:
Breakfast is on your own.
For Golfers - Note: Golf should be booked at the time of Hotel booking. (Or before June 24th if booking separately from hotel payment.)
11:00 a.m.: Meet at the Trickle Creek Golf Resort.
Tee time will start at 11:27 a.m. (to be confirmed).
The 19th hole will be at the Clubhouse for a drink.
Non-Golfers:
Hiking / shopping or visiting is on your own.
We are arranging a hike or bike for the day for those interested. This may involve an earlier start and a drive to the trailhead.
6:00 p.m.: We will all meet at 6:00 p.m. for a group dinner at the Buckhorn and Main Restaurant at the Lodge. The cost is for your own account.
Sunday, July 3rd:
Check Out Time: 11:00 a.m.
We will be scheduling a hike Sunday for those interested. Likely somewhere enroute back to Calgary, such as the Stanley Glacier or Boom Lake, weather dependent, of course. You may also take in another round of golf before heading back. (Subject to Tee availability.)

ACCOMMODATION: TRICKLE CREEK LODGE
The Trickle Creek Lodge offers 2 outdoor hot tubs, an outdoor heated swimming pool on a heated deck, underground parking, free WIFI internet service, 24-hour fitness facility, locker storage, BBQ area, laundry facilities, and The Buckhorn and Main Mountain Eatery and Lounge.
One Bedroom: This suite includes a king-size bed in a separate bedroom with a TV, a living area with a TV, a sofa bed, a gas fireplace, a balcony and a full-size kitchen. Note that the Lodge will split the king bed into two twins for people who want to share but not get too cosy. Please let them know ahead of time if you like this done.
Two Bedroom: This suite includes a king-size bed in the first bedroom, a queen-size bed in the second bedroom, a TV in each bedroom, two bathrooms, a separate living area with a TV and sofa bed, a gas fireplace, a full-size kitchen and balcony.
Note: We have 15 one bedrooms and 3 two bedrooms held for us at the above price until May 15th. If the rooms are spoken for, or after May 15th, the hotel will do their best to accommodate you if there is a room available. These are first-come, first-serve.
Please confirm cancellation policies with the Hotel at the time of booking.

Departing: Saturday, July 3rd, 2022 - Check Out time 11:00 a.m.
ROOM RATES:
One Bedroom Suites $170.00 + 15% tax/night (maximum double occupancy).
Two Bedroom Suites $249.00 + 15% tax/night (maximum quad occupancy).
Any additional guest are charged $20+ tax per person/night .
Golf Rate:
$109.00 per person plus tax. 18 holes with a shared cart. Note: If we have 24 or more golfers, the rate will be reduced to $99.75.
How to Register: Multi-Step Process
- Please call the Hotel directly at 1-877-282-1200 to book your room and golf. Please advise the Hotel you are with the Calgary Ski Club. Advise them who is sharing your room and who is golfing.
- Register on the Club website and indicate what events you are taking part in so we can track who is doing what and make reservations at the restaurant.
- If you have Club Points, you may submit your Hotel and golf receipt to treasurer@calgaryskiclub.org for reimbursement from points.
Roommates: If you want to share a room and don't have a roommate, please let Gigi know and she will try to pair you up.
As this is a sanctioned Calgary Ski Club Extended Event, pets will not be allowed.
