Cross-Country Ski Bragg Creek (Moose Loop)
About this event
Description: A low intermediate trail with a few hills
Special Note: Drivers will need to have a Kananaskis pass. (Please see below.)
Distance: 5.5 km loop
Elevation Gain: 50 metres.
Difficulty: Mostly easy, there are a couple of hills that will require some snowplow skills
Safety Precaution: This will be Winter! Make sure you are properly dressed and have extra clothing in your pack in case of emergency.
What to Bring: Extra clothing in pack, lunch, adequate fluids.
Event Trailhead: West Bragg parking (turn West into the village, cross the bridge, then turn left to find the West Bragg road). Travel west (approximately 9 kilometres), to the end of the road.
Driving Distance: 60 km one-way.
Drivers Please Note: A Kananaskis Conservation Pass, which works on the vehicle licence plate number, is required. You may follow this link if you need to purchase one. The current suggested cost of gas is six cents per kilometre, per person, return. This value may be increased if high fuel prices persist.

Please email your proof of vaccination (QR Code and text), to the trip leader before the event. Car-pooling is at your discretion. Drivers and passengers may require the wearing of masks in the vehicle.
