Cancellation, for a scheduled event that does not involve payment, should be made as above. If you need to cancel at the last-minute, contact the host via text or email. If you are running late, please notify the host as soon as safely possible. Please do not be a no-show. This means people may be waiting unnecessarily for you and may mean other members may not be able to attend when there are limited spots. No-shows may be banned from future events.

About this event

Join us for a backcountry loop favoured by folks on fat boards. Since snowshoes don't slide well, we won't bother with any big ascents but we will still have an alpine experience. A frozen lake, deep snow and views of mountain peaks are there waiting for our appreciation. 122 metres of elevation gain on a somewhat hilly approach. 4 kms in and out. About 130 kms to this Kananaskis destination on the Smith-Dorrien Rd.
