Brown Lowery Half-Day hike
About this event
We will meet at the trailhead at 9:15 am and head out on out hike by 9:30 am.
The Parking lot we are meeting at is on Plummer Road and is identified as the Brown Lowery Provincial Park parking lot online. Please determine your best driving route to our meeting spot. Note: From AB 22X you head south on AB22 (signs for Turner Valley, Black Diamond, Millarville). Then Right on 242Ave W/Plummer Road for 3.2km. Left on 240St W for 1.3km. Continue on Plummers Road 6.5 km to parking.
We will follow various trails through the park for approx 8 km. We will follow all Calgary Ski Club and Covid rules including:
- no car pooling, maintaining a minimum of 6 feet between all attendees at all times.
- Please do not attend if you have been exposed to anyone with COVID in the past two weeks, have tested positive for Covid in the past two weeks, have any covid symptoms, feel at all unwell or have any other reason to suspect that you may pose an infection risk to anyone on the trip at any time.
NOTE: Do not bring your dog unless you have ADVANCE approval from trip leader via email. This is an onleash area and any dogs that are granted approval to attend must remain ON LEASH at all times in accordance with park rules.
