Description: An easy ski to a lovely lake, with the option of walking further to the Karst Spring up the mountain. Special Note: This trail may now be track-set, due to an agreement with the government. Drivers will need to purchase a parking pass. (Please see below.) Distance: 6.5 km to the lake and return. Elevation Gain: 50 metres. Difficulty: Mostly easy. A 20 metre drop down to the lake requires some snow-plowing skills. Safety Precaution: This will be January! Make sure you are properly dressed and have extra clothing in your pack in case of emergency. What to Bring: Extra clothing in pack, lunch, adequate fluids.
