XC: Dog-friendly - Pipestone Trails or TBD
About this event
Dog-friendly XC trip. The Pipestone Trails offer a good day's skiing for beginners and experts alike. It is a great place to get a few hours of fresh air. The Pipestone network comprises of numbered trails, which are graded easy to moderate. The group will ski together to make sure we don't go in different directions. The trails run through a mixture of forest and clearings, including an open area around an unnamed lake. There are a few short steep hills - generally the trails leading away from the parking lot go gradually uphell, leaving a return journey that is a thrilling, but not excessively steep downhill run.
Dogs must be well behaved, under control by their owners at all times, and follow the parks rules and regulations. Non-dog owners welcome too!
