Socials & Other Activities

Thank you for your patience.  Covid has severely impacted us.  We are slowly resuming social activities.

Your membership includes more than just great skiing and hiking. Join us throughout the year for a variety of adult and family social events and get to know your fellow skiers, boarders, hikers and cyclists. 

Past events have included:
- Wing nights at a pub
- Illuminasia and Zoolights for the kids
- Holiday Brunch and admittance to 'Once Upon a Christmas' at Heritage Park 
- Welcome reception during WinterStart
- A Fun Day in Canmore for families participating in the Loppet 
- An annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner 
- Wine and cheese tasting

Remember your volunteer points can be used for many of these events!  Socials may require reservations and member payments. Please check the Event Calendar for information.  Guests are welcome to attend any social event, but, as most events are subsidized by the Club, a non-member price may apply. While we are a family club, some events are held in licensed establishments and may be adult only.

PPNO - Past Presidents Night Out (foodies' alert)
Join our Past President, Lynn, each month at a local, highly reviewed restaurant, from simple grub to classy joints.  Get your inner foodie on.

Golf and Softball
Several members may organize regular non-competitive golf and softball events throughout the summer.  While these events will be listed in our event calendar, you may have to contact the organizer to be put on a mailing list.

What's Your Fancy?
Want to go axe throwing, attend a chocolate tasting event?  Something else tickle your fancy?  Contact the office and we will do our best to set it up or assist you in leading the event.
