Description:
A good summer hike to a viewpoint, only 8.2 kilometers return from the Indian Oils Trailhead. We will start off by crossing the Sheep River above the Tiger Jaws Falls via a bridge that was erected by Alberta Transportation Bridge Division.
We will follow the stony uphill of the fire road for 1.7 kilometers and turn right onto Hoffmann’s green logging road just before a washout. The equally good trail to the right climbs into a meadow at the foot of the lower hump. There is an option to take a side trail to enjoy the view to the northwest and searching the rock band for Frankenstein and other “heads”.
