Description:
West Bragg Creek area is a great place for cross-country skiing near Calgary. There are a wide variety of trails here, and they cater to everybody from a beginner to a more advanced cross-country skier.
We will split into two groups, one will go around Moose Loop for 10 km and the other, faster group will select another route with greater distance and challenges. I will lead the Moose Loop group and we will figure out who will lead the speed demons.
We can start later due to the close proximity to Calgary and get a bit more sleep before doing this trip. Meet in the parking lot at 10:00 a.m.
There is also a nice warming hut at the parking lot.
