Lessons - Skills and Ski Touring: Feb 8, 22, 29

Skills and Ski Touring – Saturdays Feb 8, 22, 29

This program consists of three 3 hour classic technique skiing lessons and combines the

best of both worlds: skiing skills learned through specific drills and the pleasure of ski touring
among the most enchanting Alberta winter landscapes with a certified ski instructor.
Participants travel with a light pack, and the instructor will invite them to practice specific
skills based on terrain features along the itinerary. On top of extra clothing layers, participants
should carry a water bottle/thermos and a few snacks as short breaks for refreshments are built
into the ski tour schedule.
No lesson is officially scheduled on Sat. Feb 15 (Family Day weekend).

The maximum group size is 8 persons.

Lesson Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Please plan to arrive at the designated venue at the latest
15 min prior to the start of the lesson.  Please allow extra time for winter driving conditions.
Participants should make sure their schedule allow for a 2 hour-drive each way to get to the
lesson venue. If they wish so, participants can arrange carpooling among one another at end of
the 1 st lesson for the following lessons.

Locations:
various. The lesson location will be communicated to participants 2-3 days prior to
the lesson based on the weather forecast and snow conditions. The four venues considered are:
